Landscape and Visual Appraisal for up to 3 new dwellings on the fringes of an East Lothian village conservation area. The appraisal specifically addressed issues relating to the setting to several Grade B listed buildings and their settings located on either side of the proposed development. The appraisal demonstrated how new dwellings could be sensitively sited to positively address the existing street-scene without detrimental impact on the settings to the listed houses.
