Masterplanning input to support a planning application for a residential development within the heart of the settlement of Ballinamallard, Co. Fermanagh. A site analysis figure and a more detailed layout were also produced as part of the package. Due to the site’s high elevation and strongly sloping topography, a sensitive design incorporating a mixed density, outward looking development was promoted. A detailed landscape framework into which the proposed built forms would be absorbed was crucial to mitigate the potential landscape and visual impacts.
