Landscape and Visual Appraisal for up to 2 new dwellings within an existing suburb of Edinburgh. Site constraints included the location within the fringes of a Local Nature Conservation Site and its proximity to the Water of Leith corridor, a special landscape area and the setting to a Grade B listed building. The appraisal demonstrated how new dwellings could be sensitively sited to positively address the existing street-scene without detrimental impact on the setting to the listed house.
