Landscape and Visual Appraisal to form part of a Supporting Statement for an urban expansion within the Gartcosh/Gartloch corridor of strategic growth. The site has been identified as a Community Growth Area (CGA) within the Glasgow City Plan 2. Following the appraisal of potential landscape and visual effects particularly in relation to the site’s Green Belt status, the LVA explored the landscape capacity of the site and established the broad principles for a development framework strategy.
